An uplifting, yet restful, use of light, colour and space. Central to the design is the baptismal font which "moors" the spiritual boat shaped area of worship, with its curved plywood roof panels, to the shore where the secular facilities can be found. Walls are treated with minimum decoration and a rainbow of colour steams into the space from the dramatic contemporary stained glass windows.
